洋岭村在上护镇中部，山多地少，梯田资源多；村下上岭头、下岭头、洋一、洋二4个自然村，境内的洋岭梯田已成为陆河的乡村旅游景点。[1][3] 2020年8月，村以水稻入选首批广东省专业村名单。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后这里由河田区径头乡管辖；1958年公社化，成立洋岭大队；1974年岭头大队从中分出，洋岭大队依旧用原名；至1999年，改为洋岭村委会。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

全村户籍2703人，常住约350人。[1] 因土中含磷多，村里出的大米、火龙果、皇帝柑，在县内口碑不错；村内有较多古树，以秋枫为主，2016年被市林业局评为县级“森林公园”。[1]

洋岭梯田[edit]

据百度百科，梯田约1000亩，原是撂荒二十多年的山坡，改作稻田后成为汕尾连片面积最大的梯田；每年秋稻成熟时办梯田节，出产的米以“上护梯田香米”为品牌。[3]
