联金村是可塘镇政府所在的村，南接可塘社区，北靠国道324线，辖金竹围、古井、东村、下乡、圆山岭5个自然村，居民姓卓。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年取金竹围的「金」字和溪头村的「溪」字，设九区金溪乡；1974年金溪大队分设联金大队，1987年称联金村委会，1989年设管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

上世纪90年代起，公路两边的土地被征用，建起圆山岭开发区，许多珠宝首饰加工企业入驻，外来人口大量增加；超群集团、高艺首饰公司等企业和可塘珠宝交易市场都在区内，镇政府、财税和邮政部门也在此。耕地643亩，村民多做工商业。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年10月、2022年10月两次入选淘宝村名单；2024年3月被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
