城格山村离可塘墟约3公里，东接凤山村，西邻罗东村，三面有山环绕，村周围原来筑有围墙，因此叫城格山。居民有周、黄、陈三姓。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明嘉靖年间立村。1952年属九区罗东乡，1958年为罗东大队，1984年属陈厝坡乡，1987年设城格山村委会，1989年为管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]

经济与自然[edit]

种水稻、花生、番薯，耕地948亩，果园和淡水养殖各六七十亩；公平水库干渠流经邻村，灌溉方便。村处丘陵间的小平原中心，多雷，1972年以来有四起较重的雷击事故。村后广汕公路北侧的丘陵租给泰国商人种桉树。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月被命名为2023年广东省卫生村。[1]
