下达村在可塘镇西南部，离镇区4公里，北邻上达村，居民以王姓为主，兼有黄姓。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，明嘉靖年间有人从田墘埔上迁来立村。1952年属陇西乡，1958年为陇西大队，1974年分出设下达大队，1987年改称下达村委会，1989年设管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村在丘陵地带，村前地势平坦，耕地850亩，其中水田780亩，另有果园100多亩。留村者以种水稻、番薯、蔬菜为主，打石、运输、杂工是副业，也有不少人外出务工或经商。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
