上达村在可塘镇西南，距镇区约3公里，西南与陶河镇交界，村民姓林。宋朝末年建村时叫「樟踏」，明弘治年间取谐音改作今名。[1]

村里荔枝种植有名，被列入广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落靠着山冈，坐南向北呈方块形，建居已有500多年；1950年属六区可塘镇，1952年归九区陇西乡，1958年是陇西大队的一部分，1974年另立上达大队，1987年改称上达村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里耕地865亩，其中果园227亩，种荔枝、龙眼；上世纪90年代曾办过荔枝节。其余土地种水稻、番薯、花生和蔬菜，村民多兼做工商、打石、运输、建筑等。[1] 镇政府2025年的介绍说，村里的「股票树」模式累计纳管荔枝树4280棵，分红超过60万元，另有「藕尖股田」项目把71.22亩撂荒地重新利用，预计每年给村集体增收10万元。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月获「2020年广东省卫生村」称号；2021年9月入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（荣誉项目荔枝）；2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把它列为2021年度广东省乡村治理示范村的创建单位。[1]
