村名由来[edit]

村民是自沙大分出的曾姓。早年四周芦苇又高又密，潮田积水白茫茫，远看像岛屿，建村时取平安吉利之意，叫「吉屿」。种水稻，近年发展虾、罗非鱼养殖。[1]
