村名由来[edit]
据说先祖来自福建漳州的谢家乡，村建在地势稍高的尾部，把「谢」改为方言同音的「社」，叫作「社尾」，后人美称为「社美」。[1]
经济[edit]
种水稻、番薯，兼有辣椒、蔬菜和鱼虾养殖；村里设有老人图书馆。[1]
