蛟湖村在鹅埠街道（原鹅埠镇），有西寨、下城、蛟湖3个自然村，村里的蛟湖古寨始建于明末。2026年3月入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1][2]

博雅地名网：全村约1800人、380户，面积1.3平方千米，耕地400亩，村民主要外出务工或种田。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

蛟湖在1950年属四区、鲘门区，1960年成立蛟湖大队。1984年改为鹅埠区的蛟湖乡，1987年是村民委员会，1989年变作管理区办事处，1998年恢复了村民委员会的名称。[1]

蛟湖古寨[edit]

据百度百科，古寨建于明崇祯末年，平面方形，朝东，约占地7000平方米，墙高4米，巷道直的6条、横的4条，房屋一百多座。康熙年间主事的文氏婆捐资在鹅埠南门河上建石桥，称“婆桥”。1926年寨内成立蛟湖农民自卫军，1997年古寨所在村列入《广东省革命老区村庄名册》。[2]

荣誉[edit]

该村先在2023年4月进入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建名单，2026年3月又入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
