历史沿革[edit]
解放初的1950年，这里设西湖乡，隶四区、鲘门区；1958年改为西湖大队，两年后划入鹅埠公社。1984年复称西湖乡，1987年起是村委会，1989年又叫管理区办事处，1998年恢复村民委员会。西南村即1964年从西湖大队分出。[1]
