麻坑村在兴宁市合水镇境内，是镇辖行政村。村址原在大山坑的平地上，旧称上麻坑；1956年修合水水库，上麻坑被淹，去掉「上」字，改称麻坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上麻坑因1956年修建合水水库而被淹没，村名自此简称麻坑；1999年起设麻坑村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单2019年9月公布。[1]
  • 广东省爱国卫生运动委员会2017年10月评定的首批广东省卫生村。[1]
