名称由来[edit]

原称振岗管理区的村民，大部分是从振兴楼分迁出来的，故取名振光。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年9月黄陂区人民政府成立，这里归寺岗村；1953至1956年东部属寺岗乡，1958年建公社时属寺岗大队，1961年起叫振光大队，1984年3月又并入寺岗乡。1990年1月独立出来，名振岗管理区，1999年定为振光村委会。岗背镇2004年11月撤销，村改归黄陂镇。[1]
