名称由来[edit]

据说这里在一道石陂的下方，起先叫留陂下，后来简称留陂。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

留陂的前身是黄留乡；1958年改作黄留大队，到1983年才又恢复乡的建制；1989年黄留乡一分为二，成了黄石、黄陂两个管理区，1999年叫留陂村委会。岗背镇2004年11月撤销，原属该镇的村委会归黄陂镇管。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，留陂村入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（油茶）；2019年9月，名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
