陶古村是兴宁市黄陂镇的行政村，村情资料记全村4059人、824户，耕地1130亩，山林142.6公顷。村内的中山公祠是兴宁市特色古民居。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

这里早先住着陶、古、塘（一说陶、胡、唐）几姓，叫“陶胡塘村”，后改称陶古塘村；陶古塘村一分为二，取“古”字的一边叫陶古。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年为陶古村农会，1950至1957年称陶古大队，1963至1986年为陶古乡，1986年后称管理区，1999年改称陶古村委会。[1]

中山公祠[edit]

中山公祠在陶古村，据祠内匾额，建于明代，由兴宁石氏五世祖石介夫创建。祠为坐西北向东南的三堂二横一围龙屋，平面近椭圆形，占地2560平方米，中厅用8根花岗岩圆柱，有“八柱落地”之称。2009年8月10日，兴宁市人民政府公布它为“兴宁市特色古民居”保护单位。[2]博雅地名网的黄陂镇概况另称它为梅州市级客家古民居。[3]
