黄陂社区是兴宁市黄陂镇镇政府驻地所在的社区，博雅地名网把它归为镇中心区，社区居委会设在镇政府大院内。[1]

名称由来[edit]

社区所在的圩镇旧称“龙归洞”。圩镇附近筑有一道水坝，下大雨时黄色的河水漫过坝面，“黄陂”之名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里1950年为黄陂乡，随后改设黄陂区政府；1958年改称黄陂镇人民公社；1985年成立黄陂居委会，1999年起称黄陂社区居委会。[1]

2019年9月，社区列入广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
