地名来历[edit]

土地改革时，石坑排与湖坑合并，各取一字，定名石湖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

石湖在1933年已立乡，1950年降为蓝坊乡下的村，1952年又称乡。公社化时属红旗四社、东风公社和蓝坊公社。1983年由石湖、高磜两个大队合成一乡；此后改设村委会，一度叫管理区，1999年起称村委会至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村情介绍分16个村民小组，在册513户、1912人，村总面积2.3平方千米，耕地1555亩，主要种三华李和串珠李，重点发展毛竹基地，在原有竹林上又增种1000多亩；上一年村经济总收入927万元。[1]
