名称由来[edit]
传说明代中期有位姓邹的进士从北方南迁，在今圳前排一带开基，地名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期是邹坊乡，1957年入农业高级社，1958年起改为生产大队；其后名称屡改，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改作管理区，1999年又恢复村民委员会的名称，沿用至今。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，全村下设9个村民小组，在册478户、2393人，面积8.72平方公里，耕地2544亩；种脐橙、甜玉米、柑桔、烤烟，并发展水稻制种。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
邹坊文祠位于村口，据清嘉庆二十五年（1820年）知县卢兆鳌编的《平远县志》，乾隆五十九年（1794年）建成，倡议者是邑人刘企贤等，所在地当时叫三枫树；另有一说始建于乾隆十九年（1754年）。它是四层砖木楼阁式建筑，平面六角形，高19.85米，三层重檐、攒尖顶，顶端作宝葫芦形。最初是私塾，春秋两季也在此祭祀，又因位于河口，有镇水之说。[2][3]
民国时期这里办过小学，设过邹黄乡公所和邹坊乡公所；1929至1930年间是邹坊农会旧址。2008年被列入第五批广东省文物保护单位。[2][3]
