六吉村在仁居圩北约9公里，原名下木溪，2020年8月入选广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，品种是脐橙。[1]
名称由来[edit]
村原叫下木溪。民国初年，由境内六个自然村（叶田上、彭坑里、茶子窝、通朝、流坑径、华山）联合办学，校名「六吉国民学校」，后来即以此为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年起为六吉生产大队；其后名称屡改，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改作管理区，1999年又恢复村民委员会的名称，沿用至今。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，全村下设10个村民小组，在册200户、800人，面积12.2平方公里，耕地762亩。[1]广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布首批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，脐橙产业使六吉村榜上有名。[1]
