名称由来[edit]

一说溪水发源于畲脑，故名；一说取村内两个较大的自然村，即下畲的「畲」和武柘溪的「溪」合成。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村下设7个村民小组，在册226户、926人，面积19.27平方公里，耕地743亩；种有优质烤烟400多亩，另种油茶、西瓜。[1]
