仁居村在仁居镇中心，是镇政府所在地；平远旧县城的中心就在这一带，村内保存着金库旧址、红军旧址等多处文物。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期是仁居乡，1958年起改为生产大队；其后名称屡改，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改作管理区，1999年又恢复村民委员会的名称，沿用至今。[1]

概况与荣誉[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村下设21个村民小组，在册559户、2183人，面积4.62平方公里，耕地1550亩；田里以烤烟为主，兼种甜玉米、仙人草，山上种果。[1]2024年4月，仁居村进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村创建名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

广东省四大银行金库旧址在东门外青云桥旁，原名芹楼，1936年由乡人黎子芹所建，1944年改作广东四大银行的金库。它是带地下室的三层楼房，钢筋混凝土框架，外立面是欧式拱券，屋顶梁架用传统做法，占地约350平方米；2010年5月10日，省政府将它列入第六批省级文物保护单位。[2]

仁居红四军第一纵队革命旧址由司令部旧址（原为肖氏宗祠）、谢屋红军标语，以及善友草庐（军需处）、张家试馆（后勤处）组成，是红四军第一纵队1930年驻扎时留下的遗迹；2012年被省政府列入第七批文物保护单位。[3]

仁居万五韩公祠（民国）和仁居官塘唇李屋（清代）是第四批梅州市文物保护单位，2016年6月29日公布。[1]博雅地名网另记村内有一座明代石桥驾虹桥，被当作古镇的标志之一。[1]
