取名寄托了村民把村子建成富强、民主、如阳光般明亮的愿望。[1]

1949年前后，这里叫阳光乡。其后建制屡变：1958年立大队，1983年又称乡政府，1989年设管理区，至1999年才定为村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村里主要种植水稻、烤烟、绿茶。据博雅地名网，村里一年的经济总收入约2077万元（所指年份未注明）。[1]
