历史沿革[edit]
由水口、大湖两处合并而成。[1]
1949年前后，这里叫水湖乡。其后建制屡变：1958年立大队，1983年又称乡政府，1989年设管理区，至1999年才定为村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
