地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

旧称河西；1956年农业合作化时，河西同叶湖并为一体，遂称西湖。[1]

村级建制的变迁：1949年为西湖乡，1958年建有西湖大队，1983年易名为西湖乡政府，1989年叫作西湖管理区，1999年易名为西湖村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年3月，西湖村获认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
  • 2020年12月，西湖村入选2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
