历史沿革[edit]
村在山坑之中，先人告诫后代要行善积德，因而得名善坑。建制名称先后为善坑乡（1949年）、善坑大队（1958年）、善坑乡政府（1983年）、善坑管理区（1989年）、善坑村民委员会（1999年）。[1]
概况[edit]
全村在册325户，户籍人口1949人，耕地981亩。村里有五指毛桃、梅州柚种植基地，被纳入全镇“一村一品”特色农业带；2020年起建设污水处理设施，污水处理率超过70%；“四好农村路”硬底化道路累计6.3公里，并被列为精品村创建对象。[1]
