历史沿革[edit]

平湖取平星的“平”、横湖的“湖”合称。建制名称先后为平湖乡（1949年）、平湖大队（1958年）、平湖乡政府（1983年）、平湖管理区（1989年）、平湖村民委员会（1999年）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年2月，平湖村获2022年度五华县文明村镇称号。[1]
