协和村是广东省梅州市五华县水寨镇所辖的行政村，位于五华县城区一带，村名来自两姓和解的传说。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据传明末清初，李姓始祖与周姓因土地界线发生争执，打官司告到县令那里，判定之后两姓商量着和睦相处，“协和”之名便由此而来。[1]

宋元时期，这里属太平约的玉茶，协和只是玉茶的自然村之一。民国时称大玉乡，乡公所设在大布；新中国成立后称玉茶大队，1980年代玉茶一分为二，成为玉一、玉二两个管理区；1989年设协和管理区，1999年改设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
