后安村是丰顺县汤坑镇所辖的行政村之一，位于汤坑镇辖区东北片[1]。村名的来历是：1958年成立大队时，从上后輋、下后輋取「后」字，从新安村取「安」字，合称后安[2]。2004年10月撤销附城镇后改归汤坑镇管辖[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载：历史上有八个自然村，土改、建政后各成立初级社、高级社；此后1958年上、下后輋与新安村合并为后安大队；随后1983年起叫作汤坑区后安乡；再后来1986年起叫作附城乡后安管理区；接着1999年起叫作后安村民委员会；2004年附城镇建制撤销后，后安村民委员会划入汤坑镇。[3]

荣誉：2019年9月，后安村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
