东光村是广东省梅州市大埔县大东镇的一个行政村，在大东镇东部。全村辖14个村民小组，288户1330人，总面积4884亩，耕地723亩，主要作物是蜜柚。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧称大产，据说村民居住分散，“散”与“产”读音相近；又传村口有大池塘，别名大塘头。1961年大东自百侯公社分出另设公社，因此地在大东镇东北部，取名东光。明代属大产社，清代属大产甲，民国为大产乡，1950年代初曾称塘市乡。1961年起为大东公社东光大队，1983年改乡，1986年起称村，1988年称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与文化[edit]

2020年8月，东光村列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（蜜柚）；2019年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
