古西村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，因在古埜的西边而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，古西的村名自明清以来没有变过，明代属清远都古埜社古埜村，清代属古源甲古埜村，民国归高陂区古埜乡。1958年10月曾属高陂公社，1961年1月划入古埜公社，1983年12月改设古埜区古西乡，1986年12月改属古埜乡古西村，1998年起称村民委员会，2003年复归高陂镇。[1]

村情与荣誉[edit]

村辖15个村民小组，在册292户、1098人，耕地906亩，所载上一年农村经济总收入1093万元。2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
