尧溪村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，由三处村落并成，1964年得名。[1]
地名由来[edit]
今尧溪境内的石螺塘、甜竹坑，民国时划在光德澄坑乡；1962年两处归高陂公社的甜竹大队；1964年，甜竹、石螺塘与陶溪境内的芷尧坑三处并为一个大队，各取字样，定名尧溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1964年起，村为高陂公社下的尧溪生产大队；1983年12月改设尧溪乡，1986年12月改属高陂镇尧溪村，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]
村情[edit]
村辖10个村民小组，在册249户、1262人，耕地767亩（据博雅地名网）。[1]
