地名由来[edit]
相传旧时冬天常有成群乌鸦停在这里的大片田地上，叫乌槎洋，后简作乌槎。[1]
与高陂圩的关系[edit]
民国《大埔县志》说，高陂圩设在韩江东岸；原先的老圩在高陂寨，即现在高陂中学校舍旁，乾隆三十年（1765年）才搬到这边，一开始名叫乌槎圩，可是各乡来赶圩的人叫惯了，仍称高陂。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
明代为清远都古埜社乌槎村，清代为古源甲乌槎村，民国属高陂区乌槎乡。1958年10月归高陂公社，设乌槎生产大队，1983年12月并入乌槎管理区，1986年12月改属高陂镇乌槎村，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]
村情[edit]
村辖22个村民小组，在册528户、2865人，耕地796亩，主要种水稻，所载上一年农村经济总收入3461万元（据博雅地名网）。[1]
