桃花村是梅州市大埔县高陂镇的行政村，位于韩江中游东岸。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传古时这里桃花很多，所以叫桃花。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代为清远都桃花社桃花村，清代为古源甲桃花村，民国属高陂区桃花乡。1958年10月在高陂公社下成立桃花生产大队，1978年3月划入三洲公社，1983年12月改设桃花乡，1986年12月改属高陂镇桃花村，1998年起称村民委员会。[1]
村情[edit]
博雅地名网载，村辖28个村民小组，在册469户、2986人，总面积7平方千米，耕地1309亩；年平均气温20摄氏度，年降水量约1800毫米。经济作物有泥竹、绿竹和柚、果，村里以劳务输出和种果、种竹为生计，所载上一年农村经济总收入为3170万元。[1]
