大觉村是大埔县茶阳镇下辖的行政村，位于茶阳镇上角片[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
关于名称：1940年，大常坑与社角里两村之间办起一所完全小学，校名取两村名中的“大”和“角”；后因“角”“觉”同音，且觉有觉悟之意，改作“大觉”，1949年又以此称呼本村[2]。
据该网辑录的资料，大觉村明代隶长富社，清代隶长富甲；1958年10月时编为茶阳公社大觉生产大队，至1961年时属古村公社，1978年3月划归茶阳公社，1985年上半年归入茶阳镇[3]。
人口经济[edit]
