茅坪村是大埔县茶阳镇下辖的行政村，位于茶阳镇上角片[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
关于名称：相传先民来此时遍地茅草，始祖铲草开荒、盖屋立村，村名即由此而来[2]。
据该网辑录的资料，茅坪村明代属长富社，清代属长富甲，民国属长富乡；1958年10月成立埔城公社茅坪生产大队，1961年1月划入古村公社，至1963年时转属茶阳公社，1985年上半年归入茶阳镇，至1998年时起为村民委员会[3]。
