白水村是梅州市梅江区西阳镇所辖的一个行政村。村中一条河的上游高打坪处有瀑布，水流泻落，声响如雷，浪花银白，如一条银链，称白水磜，村名即由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，白水大队成立，归梅县西阳公社管理；1960年白宫另置公社，该大队改隶白宫公社。1983年改称白水乡，隶梅县市白宫区；1986年设村民委员会，1989年易名白水管理区，归梅县市白宫镇；1998年再改称白水村委会，仍属白宫镇。2003年白宫镇并入西阳镇，该村随之划归西阳镇；2012年9月23日西阳镇自梅县改归梅江区管辖，该村亦属梅江区。[1]
