历史沿革[edit]

1949年9月隶下麻乡；1951年底属约坑乡；1957年底属麻榨乡约坑村；1958年10月起为约坑大队；1971年起称犀牛尾大队；1984年3月归约坑乡；1987年12月设犀牛尾村民委员会；至1989年10月叫西牛管理区；1999年5月后定名西牛。[1]
