在龙门县麻榨镇境内，双水村为镇属十八个行政村之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年9月隶上麻乡；1951年底属鳌溪乡；1957年底属麻榨乡鳌溪村；1958年10月起为鳌溪大队；1961年叫鳌溪公社双水大队；1963年1月又并回鳌溪大队；1971年重设双水大队；1984年3月归鳌溪乡；1987年1月组建村民委员会，至1989年10月叫管理区，1999年4月后为现名。[1]
2019年9月，双水村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
