大陂村隶属龙门县麻榨镇，为镇上的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，大陂称二堡，罗坑为一堡。1949年9月隶上麻乡；1951年底随罗坑乡；1957年底属麻榨乡罗坑村；1958年10月起为罗坑大队；1961年另设大陂大队，1963年1月复并入罗坑大队；1984年3月改为大陂乡；1987年1月组建村民委员会，至1989年10月叫管理区，1999年4月后为现名。[1]

关于村名，博雅地名网记有一则传说：八仙云游途经莲花寨一带，何仙姑与杨公仙师在此歇脚进食，见一块仙人石拦住寨上的溪流，如同筑成陂坝，村因此叫大陂。这是民间说法，没有别的材料印证。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予大陂村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]村域深处有寨头水库，坝址在大陂村委会辖区的山中。[2]
