西牛村是广东省肇庆市高要区水南镇下辖的行政村，下辖9个村民小组[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
在解放前归高要一区，到1950年建起乡一级政权。1958年划入乐城公社，名西牛大队，次年转到新设的水南公社。1983年改设西牛乡，1987年为村委会，1989年为管理区；到1998年，改组成村民委员会，至今未变[1][2]。
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的介绍，全村998人，山林地6750亩，耕地560亩（水田330亩、旱地230亩），作物以肉桂、柑橘、石槁为主；村集体经济薄弱，集体所有的只有约230亩荒山[1]。2019年9月入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年3月，西牛村入选「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
