龙城街道是广东省惠州市龙门县的县城所在地，县人民政府驻此，名称即取自县城驻地[1]。2005年6月由原龙城镇改设为街道办事处，并接收了原王坪镇的部分辖地[3]。据2024年的街道概况，辖区面积133.34平方千米，下辖6个社区和19个行政村，是龙门县政治、经济和文化的中心[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

龙门县城这片地方的上级几经更替：1949年8月27日编入东江专区，此后依次转到粤中行署（1952年11月）、惠阳专区（1956年12月）、广州地区（1958年11月）和佛山地区（1959年3月）。龙门县建置于1961年10月25日恢复，当时仍由佛山地区领导，1963年6月才回到惠阳地区；1975年1月划给广州市，1988年4月又划归新设的惠州市。[3]

2005年6月16日，省民政厅发出粤民区〔2005〕29号批复：龙门县龙城镇撤销，改设龙城街道办事处。新街道除原龙城镇辖地外，还接收了王坪镇的王坪居委会，以及三洞、江厦、黄竹沥、陈村、花围、王坪、城西、横田、鸬鹚、黄溪、樟潭、戴屋、青溪共13个村委会；王坪镇同时改名龙田镇。[3]

街道概况载，辖区总面积133.34平方千米，其中耕地2060公顷，山地7460公顷，森林覆盖率59.8%。[2]博雅地名网的另一页给出过不同的数字：8个居委会、19个村委会，户籍7万多人（70858人），面积为115.5平方千米。[4]

据第七次全国人口普查，2020年底龙城街道人口为7.61万人，在龙门县各街道乡镇中居第1位。[1]2024年街道概况则称全街道户籍人口约7.5万。[2]

经济[edit]

街道2024年的经济数据：全年地区生产总值55.23亿元，增速2.3%；城乡居民人均可支配收入36174元，增速4.03%；限额以上商业营业额4.69亿元，增长3.3%；固定资产投资10.64亿元，比上年少了28.9%；规模以上工业产值14.44亿元，比上年少了14.6%。[2]

同年街道推进乡村产业提档升级，辖区内所有行政村的集体经济收入都达到10万元以上。具体项目有：三洞村的三洞谷生态农旅项目，建好了一期帐篷营地的基础设施；江厦村引进文化传媒企业，建成农旅电商服务基地；城西村建成百果里农旅项目；黄竹沥村建成现代设施蓝莓种植基地；戴屋村推进园区餐饮、零售、配送中心等配套项目；黄溪村、鸬鹚村、黄竹坑村入股一家养猪场项目。[2]

文化[edit]

2024年，街道办过写对联、书香文化节、“龙门非遗闹新春”巡游、三八妇女节游园、象棋比赛和送书下乡图片巡展等活动。[2]博雅地名网把舞火狗列为龙城街道一带的民俗文化项目。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙门县商会旧址在顶新街16号，建于清代，砖木结构的三合院，建筑面积378平方米，占地约1000平方米。1927年12月广州起义失败后，起义保存下来的部队1200多人转移至花县，12月16日在花县议定改编为中国工农红军第四师，叶镛任师长，宋湘涛任副师长。12月20日这支部队由王坪进入龙城，师部设在当时的古?口街（今顶新街）县商会，士兵则宿营于伯衡小学，即今龙城第二小学。部队在此休整并商定去海陆丰与红二师会合。[4]

三洞社稷坛在三洞村，建于清光绪二十一年（1895年），被视为龙门县发现的首个保存完好的古祭坛，2012年10月升格为省级文物保护单位。[5][7]

江厦村碉楼是江厦村的一座四层砖木碉楼，高16米，宽6米，长12米，墙上每层开有大小不一的枪眼。1944年7月2日，一队日军从增城开往龙门县城，转而扑向县城附近村民避居的江厦村；村民组织青壮年自卫队，用土枪土炮在谭仙公庙一带和新庄坳设伏，从傍晚打到晚上8时，据称打死打伤日军30余人。战后碉楼被炮火毁去半边，村民称其“半边楼”。[6]

荣誉[edit]

环境保护部2014年6月授予龙城街道「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2019年12月，它又列入「第三批智慧健康养老示范街道（乡镇）名单」。[1]
