星光村位于广东省惠州市惠东县的高潭镇境内，是镇辖行政村，村名取自「三星、茂星、坪星、光荣」四个初级社并成高级社时各取的两个字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

星光在1949年是行政村，1951年并入公梅，1956至1957年先后称星光农业社和高级农业社，1958年再并入公梅。[1] 1977年从公梅分出为星光大队，1987年3月改星光村委，1989年称管理区，1998年起为星光村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
