历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网说，村名取自地方大[1]。1951年，四眉山、光长、大地编为光长片；同年12月，大地是惠阳县第十五区的大地小乡，1957年12月并入梁化乡，1958年一度称光长生产大队，1963年2月在梁化公社下称大地大队[1]。1984年，大地与吕屋坪合为大地乡；1987年3月设大地村委，90年代称管理区，1998年起称大地村委会[1]。
