新民村是惠东县梁化镇所辖的行政村，村民多为外来新移民。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，大部分村民是迁来定居的新移民，故取名新民[1]。1962年，新民自育民大队分出，同四民并为四民大队；1975年后另立新民大队；1984年与育民、四民组成育民乡[1]。1987年3月设新民村委会，90年代称管理区，1999年起称新民村委会[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月公布的2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」广东省创建单位名单中，有该村的名字[1]。
