石下屯村是惠州市博罗县长宁镇的行政村，1999年改设村民委员会，村民以游氏为主。[1]

地名由来[edit]

该村名称是1999年改设村委会时，由长宁镇政府拟定并报县政府审批的，依据是村委会驻在石下屯。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中流传，康熙末年兴宁县大坪乡有大批村民外迁，上河岭村的游伯鹏一家南下，走到博罗县东宁乡（今长宁镇），见地势平坦、土地肥沃，就留下安家。村里世代居住的主要是游氏。[1]

行政隶属方面，该村清代归归善县巡司署，民国属第十区福田乡。1949年起经历第四区长宁乡、第十一区等建制，石下屯生产队自1958年10月设立，到1983年11月改为长宁镇石下屯乡，1990至1999年为石下屯管理区，1999年起是石下屯村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

石下屯村2019年9月入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」，2024年1月被确定为2023年广东省的同类示范村（社区），2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
