社区设在原水果场的场址上，因而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这块地方在1970年是惠州师范学校的校址，之后县里委托显岗水库接管，1974年办成显岗水库柑桔场，又很快改称显岗柑桔场。此后名称几经变化：1980年叫罗浮山柑桔场，1991年1月10日叫罗浮山水果场。水果场于2012年9月7日撤销并整体改制，2013年11月11日起由水果场社区居民委员会管辖。[1]
