新江村是惠州市博罗县长宁镇的行政村，居民来自河源新丰江水库的移民，1999年起设村民委员会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
1966年，来自河源东源县新丰江水库库区的移民迁到这里，把原村名带了过来，后来改叫新江村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新江建村当年（1966年）即是长宁人民公社的新江大队；1983年改为长宁区新江乡，1986年为长宁镇新江管理区，1999年起为新江村民委员会。[1]
新江村在2019年9月入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
