罗塘村属博罗县柏塘镇。罗塘属镇乡结合区。村子清代形成：清兵入关不久，局势未稳，鹏杨公的父亲利吉公与兄弟、叔侄商量南下，走到博罗柏塘一带觉得合适，便在此定居。鹏杨公迁到罗塘口后，一度把村改称定安围，后来觉得「罗」和「塘」容量大，有海纳百川之意，盛丁旺财，才定名罗塘口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后归柏塘区管辖；罗塘大队于1958年成立，1983年改为罗塘乡，1986年又叫管理区，1999年起设村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年9月，罗塘村进入广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，品类是柏塘山茶。[1]2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中，有该地在列。[1]
