历史沿革[edit]

村名取地势平坦、土地广阔之意。这里在1969至1986年是大布生产大队，其后十余年为大布管理区，1998年成为大布村民委员会。[1]

概况[edit]

博雅地名网（未注年份）记村民3800多人，分8个村民小组；耕地4800亩，水田占2000亩，香蕉种植750亩，塘鱼养殖2500亩，另有工业企业20多家。[1]

大布岗山上有黄显声烈士墓，见大沙镇条。
