前锋社区在广东省肇庆市四会市东城街道境内。旧称前锋村，2012年村改居为社区；名称取“锐意进取、争当先进”之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

前锋的前身是1956年的前锋高级农业社，两年后改大队，隶大沙公社；1987年设村委会，1989年又称管理区，属大沙镇；大沙镇分出新江镇后（1994年）随归新江镇；2003年新江镇并入东城街道；2012年村改居，成为社区居委会。[1]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网所载村情：村处四会市东部，邻肇庆大旺高新区，约5平方千米，含6个自然村、12个村民小组，2200多人（党员72人）；广贺高速、江肇高速和四会工业大道经过村内。产业以养鱼和种花为主，鱼塘6000多亩，花场近千亩（多种桂花），村集体年收入128.7万元（该页未注明年份），并投入600多万元新建前锋小学。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，前锋社区进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”」创建单位名单；2024年3月获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
