历史沿革[edit]

村委会驻地处于社山咀与茂香两村之间，各取一字，叫社香。[1]新中国成立后称社香乡，1962年为社香大队，1989年改管理区，1998年成为社香村委会。[1]2019年9月，社香村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]

经济[edit]

503户、1965人；水田1307亩，水果786亩；种植沙糖桔、贡柑、冬瓜、竹子和桂皮。[1]
