社区设立于2002年3月5日，至今未变；博雅地名网的简介则把成立时间写作2002年6月。[1]

人口与设施[edit]

辖区2.2平方千米，划分为4个居民小区，共281栋住宅楼、552户。常住居民1325人，另有流动人口约200人。[1]2019年9月，社区进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
